Zonta Club of Findlay General Scholarship
Julia Bollenbacher is graduating from Findlay High School and will attend Gannon University to study healthcare. Her goal is to become a Physicians Assistant where she can promote positive change and provide a lasting impact in many people's lives.
Paige Courtad is graduating from Riverdale High School and will attend University of Findlay to study Nursing. She started her healthcare journey at Millstream Career Center and her goal is to complete her CNA then pursue a Bachelors of Science in Nursing to work in an emergency room, general surgery or the cardiac units of a hospital.
Madison Ernst is graduating from Arlington High School and will attend Bowling Green State University to study Inclusive PreK-5 Early Childhood Education. Her career objective is to teach second, third and fourth grades in a supportive classroom environment, like she experienced at Arlington.
Paige Elizabeth Griffith is graduating from Findlay High School and will attend The Ohio State University to study Nursing. Her goal is to work in a high-level trauma hospital as a psychiatric nurse where she can help patients using compassion, integrity and leadership.
Celeste Taylor is graduating from Liberty-Benton High School and will attend The Ohio State University to study Mechanical Engineering. Her passion lies with robotics and building robots, having designed, programmed and tested robots she has built for different competitions while attending Millstream Career Center.
Zonta Club of Findlay General Scholarship winners must demonstrate evidence of the following: active commitment to volunteerism, experience in local government, student government, or workplace leadership, volunteer leadership achievements, knowledge of Zonta International and its programs and support of Zonta International's mission of building a better world for women and girls. The students will receive $1000 each.
Elizabeth Mae Kobeszka Z-Club Scholarship
Taylor also received the Elizabeth Mae Kobeszka Z-Club Scholarship for $1000.
The scholarship was established by Elizabeth’s family. This year marks twenty-six years of Zonta of Findlay’s support of the Liberty Benton Z-Club. Ms. Taylor has been a member of the club all through her high school career.
Zonta Young Women in Leadership Scholarship
Folusha Ebosele is graduating from Heritage Christian School. She will attend The Ohio State University studying Biomedical Engineering.
The Young Women in Leadership applicants should demonstrate leadership skills and commitment to public service and civic causes. She will receive $500.
Heather Franks is graduating from McComb High School and will be attending The University of Toledo pursuing her Master of Business Administration in Leadership and Business Analytics.
The Zonta Club of Findlay Non-Traditional Woman Student Scholarship for college students who did not begin their academic journey immediately following high school. She will receive $1000.
